About Me

I am the Communications and Content Manager at the Pro Football Hall of Fame and I have been at the Hall of Fame since my graduation from Ashland University in 2014.

Currently, I assist the communications team with proofing all external communications, whether that be email, news release or media alert, as well as helps write all those same pieces of content. I also write weekly website articles titled “Moments in NFL History,” where on a specific day during the week a story is published about something that took place that day.

Along with my responsibilities in the communications department, I assist with the Sugardale Fan Fest and some programming at the Hall of Fame. I also help with many different events during Enshrinement Week as well as the Hall’s events each year during the Super Bowl.

My career at the Hall of Fame started in 2014, when I was a summer intern in the Youth, Education and Leadership Department. After the internship was completed and I graduated in December, I started working part-time in the box office as well as on the marketing street team. In June of 2015, I was hired on a 6-month contract in the Youth, Education and Leadership Department and then brought on full-time in 2016. I spent nearly 10 years in the YELP Department working mainly with the Heart of a Hall of Famer program.

Outside of work, Jake and his wife Aly (who he met at the Hall of Fame) were married in 2024 and are expecting a baby girl, Lainey Jo, in April of 2026! They currently live in Alliance with their dog Phoebe. I also enjoy hunting, Ohio State football games, NASCAR races as well as running - just not too much.
